Seishi Hagihara

Assistant Professor : Ph.D [Agriculture]

I specialize in fish physiology and ecology, and my research focuses on the factors that influence the decision to begin migration and sexual maturation in migratory fish (especially eels). I am in charge of the UTokyo Ocean Alliance Interdisciplinary Marine Education Program.

Ryoshiro Wakiya

Assistant Professor : Ph.D [Agriculture]

My specialty is fish ecology and my research seeks to understand how eels, which migrate between oceans and rivers, live in the wild. I'm responsible for the UTokyo Ocean Alliance Interdiciplinary Marine Education Program.
